Mother's Fate

Spare elegance in ice-but what is gone is gone.
I only imagine his glittering wings,
That’s the only thing.
He was in all my dreams.

She creates the fire in my eyes,
A fox in her fox fur,
But the deep part of my house is the darkness,
But the only thing dark is the farness.
The farness of which his love is in a harness.
The darkness of how deep my love was and the darkest.
Why?
Why did you hang me in the closet?

Mark the sea changes in our lives.
The only time things changed is when you came by.
Tell me has our love died?

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill.
Why did you start singing were you thrilled?
Our relationship had been killed.
Killed by my embarrassment and our relationship kills.

But you kept drilling me,
Drilling me to be someone I’m not.
To depend on something, I should not.
To fear your hateful words,
To curve those hateful verbs.
It was as if I had to go to hell and repeat your words.

Mother dearest, you are no longer mine.
You shall forget that we ever sat down and dined.
I tried to be kind.
Let’s just face it you never wanted to be mine.
You were just temporarily part of this rhyme.
I tried to turn a nickel to a dime,
But you, you just killed the dime
