I guess
I suppose
That all of he or she who read up my flows
Know I do it mainly in format that’s prose
And that all of my flows
Are mainly written so that all who read learns and grows
And through my writing
MY internal higher self is exposed
Because when I write
I take delight as it if its really time of repose
It’s surely a time of emotional respite
Despite
That I may write about certain pains, struggles and fights
I still take delight when I write
As it offers me moments of true emotional and spiritual peace
Now this may be one of my most poetic writing
Truly simplistic
But the heart that the most high gave me
Was a heart of compassion and that’s fully altruistic
So I give of my time, my experiences, and it’s shown in my words
And although just snippets of my life from the past, present, and desired future
You all know when my pain hurts
And how much pain I have witnessed
But I still give this
Because my higher calling and purpose
Is to give praise to a being who's perfect
And I use my writing skill as my worshipful service
And could only hope that when I drop lyrics that stem from my spirit
That people take a moment to feel my expression
So that I know that y’all heard this.
