You are my motivation
And I hate it.
I want to fix my life to win you back,
But why does your name in my thoughts make me want to be better?
My mind says you’re toxic.
My heart says I want you.
You’ve made me less focused.
Then again, you’ve made me more focused than ever.
Your presence pushes me.
Your absence pushes me.
An unhealthy desire to keep you,
Drives me to healthy decisions.
I never thought I could connect with someone again,
Until I met you.
Until you left me.
