A silent majority of folks
make no difference the color
nothin but respect for the sisters
or brothers who know what
this poem is about
those of us who know very well
just a pay check away
from no where to stay
have much empathy for those
homeless in the streets and parks
Its a real issue folks should
come to grips from the heart
specially sad to see them in the winter
time when the hawk
dont give a dam what
you say in rhyme
Chickens today
feathers to morrow
Many are a paycheck away from
feelin this
