It feels like we’re under attack
As a matter fact
Life was better back when the president was black
Donald Trump is wack
He don’t know what to say or how to act
Overestimating crowd sizes cuz he’s bad at math
Slow to respond for Puerto Rico
Critical of black athletes and other kneeling people
Would Jesus think Trump or Kaepernick is evil?
Throughout history there’s been a constant fuss
In every nation and culture it’s them versus us
The flag was once symbol - Trump made it a crisis
His NFL comments were the epitome of divisive   
The problem is money and power
Life is sweet with either, with neither it’s sour 
Riches and weapons don’t make us better
A lesson well learned by the effects of the weather
Earthquakes and Hurricanes treat everyone the same
But the affluent and connected leave while the poor must remain
Starting from scratch with the clothes on their back
No insurance, job, or savings just two cigarettes and a match
What about the future, our kids education and health?
When charter schools replace public ones and ACA’s taken off the shelf
I see a bleak future similar to a past observation
Just outside of a resort in Jamaica people living in devastation 
Kids crowd around us selling candy for money
Paradise lost but the sky was blue and it was still sunny
When will the world revolt and what will we do?
The world’s thirsty and by comparison each American owns a pool...
