You canâ€™t blame me for trying
Because all I can do is try
But trying is just not enough
There are times I just want to cry
Sometimes I just wonder why

Lord do you hear me crying
Everyday I continue to fail
Everything seems to slope downward
Iâ€™m Frustrated I am ready to yell

You canâ€™t blame me for trying
Trying is my only know how
What else am I suppose to do
Who can I depend on now?

Can anyone see that I am helpless?
Struggling on the nine to five
Trying to do my very best
Keeping the hope alive

You canâ€™t blame me for trying
Through Lips escapes a Scream
A Vision of dreams that has never came true
Holding on to an unanswered Dreams
