some of you wise ol owls
in the building some may
need a while catch a feeling
this goes out to those who
can relate to getting a paycheck
in your hand going to the
check cashing place or to
the neighborhood liquor store
to cash it all the conversation
and interaction that took
place in the process of the
transaction it seemed to have
meant more than direct
depositing on a plastic card
who needs neighbors when
no one leaves the yard
though it is a must to fit in
to the scheme of things
something's a miss  like a
broken system that can't
 be fixed a mix of pins
passwords, codes that
 that we often forget
at times told to not to
dwell on once upon a times
but we're still here and we
remember there, years away
but not too distant to care
