Know you struck a nerve by how mad I get
Proof and truth is pointless but you don’t quit
Keep me honest and call out all my (bull...) mistakes
As I rule without regard let them eat cake
Men destroy while women create
Their emotions fill oceans while ours is a small lake
But when both are frozen they use it to skate
While we’re trapped down underneath
Holding in our feelings too afraid to express grief
Watching our love above hoping it’s enough to bust thru
While she’s looking down wondering if she can trust you....
