STAND

CATEGORY

I want to share with you what each letter in the word STAND means to me.

S.T.A.N.D -

The S is for Seek
Seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Seek God's word.
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added.

The T is for Turn
Turn away from your evil ways, turn away from unforgiveness. She let
you down, forgive her. He did you wrong, forgive him. If God can forgive you over and over for all you have done and do, who are you
that you can't forgive someone? Do not harbor hurt and bitterness. Let it go and turn to God.

The A is for Acknowledge
In all your ways acknowledge God - Give God the glory!
Do not take credit for waking up and starting your day. No cell phone
woke you up, no alarm clock woke you up, your spouse didn't wake you up. Acknowledge the fact that God had mercy on you and touched your eyes to see this day, did you tell Him thank you yet?

Why not acknowledge God? You acknowledge your friends and family. And for those of you who have social media, you acknowledge your followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You are following this person and that person and this person and that person is following you, but Jesus said, "Follow Me."

The N is for New
You like New huh?
You like yo new house, you like yo new car, you like yo new clothes. you like yo new shoes. Aww, you all fresh and clean on the outside,
but how about asking God to create in you a CLEAN HEART. Then you will be clean on the inside and clean on the out. Ask God to RE-NEW a righteous spirit within you.
As we understand, old things have passed away and we realize ALL
things have become new.

The D is for Deliver
Deliver us from sickness
Deliver us from that addiction
Deliver us from financial struggles Lord
Deliver us from depression
Deliver us from that spirit of unforgiveness
Deliver us from disobedience
Deliver us from EVIL…

STAND -
STAND in your life
STAND in the mist of your circumstances
STAND in your spiritual walk with God
STAND against the evil plans of the devil
STAND in the lives of your children and your family

There will be times in your life where you will be trying to work it
ALL out, figure it ALL out, solve ALL the problems, fix everything and everyone that is broken.

Soon you will realize you have exhausted ALL your energy. YOU CAN'T DO IT ALL. God doesn't want YOU to do it ALL. So relax and release and after you have done all you can, you just STAND!

Think of a time when your rent was due and it got paid and then, thank God.

Thank You God for NOT...

So yall, there are times in my life where I can reflect back and even now say, “Thank You God for NOT..."

Thank You God for NOT letting me get married.
There was a time in my life where I was going to get married and I asked God, if this marriage is not meant to be, then don’t let it happen. Well, it didn't happen.
To others, it looked like I didn’t get the answer I wanted, but to God (and to me), I got the answer I needed. Thank You God.

Thank You God for NOT letting me get that promotion.
I am a firm believer of what God has for me is for me. This was not for me. This was someone else’s blessing. God had something different and better in store for me.

Thank You God for NOT allowing me to suffer.
Thank You God for NOT letting this situation break me.

Thank You God for NOT letting him come over that night.
So yall, there was a time (years ago) when my male friend said he was on his way and didn’t come.

God your Mind

God your mind - Think Godly thoughts.
God your steps - Allow God to walk with you and direct your path.
God your tongue - There is Power in the tongue, speak positivity.
God your heart - God so loves the world, let’s Love like God loves.

Trust God and KNOW, with God, God will guard you.

Peace

Dear God,
Thank You Father for Your Peace.

Dear World,
I don’t pray for world peace, I pray for God’s peace for the world.
His peace brings calmness, simplicity and patience in your life. God’s peace is an insurmountable peace that this world cannot give you.

John 14 vs. 27 (NKJV) says - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Philippians 4 vs. 7 (NKJV) says - and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

For THIS peace, you cannot walk in Walgreens or Walmart and say, “Excuse me, what aisle is your peace on?
The doctor can’t prescribe you peace. The pharmacist can’t bottle it up. You can’t cook it or drink it. There is no farm or field that grows it. No amount of money you have can b...

Dear God

Dear God,

We want to thank You for so much.
Thank You Father for seeing us through another year together. (2022)
Thank You Father for covering, shielding, directing and protecting us.
Thank You for granting us Your peace Father.
Thank You for never leaving nor forsaking us.
Thank You Father for all You have in store for us.
Thank You for healing us, loving us and forgiving us Father.
Thank You for Your many promises of protection and for Your mercy and Your grace.
Thank You Father for Your traveling grace as we went all around and back.
Thank You Father for Your never ending love and the wonderful gift of Your Son Jesus Christ.

We are forever grateful and thankful.

I have a new Comforter

Hey yall, I have a new Comforter. I’m so excited. My new Comforter is soft, warms my soul and adds brightness to my life. And this new Comforter is different than what I’m used to, because I’m filled with such a warmth I’ve never felt before, much better than any sherpa, plush or down, any pillow or teddy bear. I am so blessed, grateful and thankful to have this Comforter. I find such a calmness and a sense of peace with my Comforter, and when I am under my Comforter, I know I am loved and protected just by the warmness felt.

Well actually, my Comforter isn’t new, my vision of my Comforter is new, because truth be told, my Comforter has been here all the while.

Do you want to feel the warmth of my new Comforter? Yeah, I bet you do. Just accept the Lord Jesus Christ and invite Him in your life. He is there waiting to comfort you, carry you, warm you and hold you through any of your coldness, darkness, hurt and times of loneliness and uncertainty.

Don't Let the Bread Get Stale

Don't let the bread get stale came about when I had this huge crush on my lil sweetheart at work. I began putting snacks in his desk, basically things I know he likes. Well, I noticed the snacks were low, but I was being lazy and didn't go to the store. One day at home, the bread got stale, which meant now I had to go to the store. I finally went to Walmart, the snacks were only $10.00, but I ended up spending $95.00. That's why I don't like to go to the store, because you get things you were not going in there to get.
So this is how this all came about, because "The Bread got Stale."

A couple of days later a different meaning of "Don't Let the Bread Get Stale" came about. At Jayda's book signing everyone took turns sharing a little something about themselves. I spoke on how I love to write poetry and inspired them by reciting my poem, "The Strength of a Woman."
