Poetry...it means something to me
I have seen poets come and go but in that process
they have left a legacy
One of a voice being heard and of wanting the world to be heard
One of respect and humiltiy for the words spoken
The spirits lifted and pity for the ones broken
but not all the time.
I have respect for this craft
Just as sincerely as I respect the words that are write
becuase within me there is poetry - - life
