to lift their sights...

whenever, 

the natural rise 

of men and women 

of color...

would occur 

despite the fact

they'd endure 

the indignity 

of serving

without their needs 

...being served... 

imagined them...

getting out 

of their place... 

their solution

...hate... death... 

intentional suffering, 

creating distrust 

and spreading ...confusion

we must... allow those

whose sacrificial efforts 

proved worthy... 

speak to our hearts 

as we... too, must

do our best to
