in that mood again up all night Hugging a pen like it's my wife Who am I kidding I'll never do that again I rather be alone and write my life Until ink runs dry the thought of that Brings tears to my eyes Sad thoughts make me sigh Sometime I wish I could put it in reverse Throw my enemies in the back like it's a hearse Drive down the street of my past Blow the horn and wave to my younger self sitting on steps Like a bump on a log Can't say I miss those days I welcome some change
