The soul balances the universe I was here before the earth Blossomed before the curse My steps were Godly Never once rested my feet in dirt Above the evil that lurked and slithered My words were pure Glide when I stride I was here amongst the most high Years and hours had no meaning Wasn't concerned with the future Only the here and now Life was a wow Then came the forbidden fruit Now a second is a while A year is forever Life is a trial Certain skin tones are tossed in a pile Labeled as foul How did I began in the clouds to suffering day and night before I lay down Wow My reflection is shadowed by my melanin This shade glows like neon lights I wasn't meant to blend in with you It is my duty to be me The me that the most high created within the clouds I am angelic I am man I am Adam Look at my journey from then to now Can't help but to say WOW
