Cramping Bowels of Shame

Defecated bigotry

and political rhetoric

have constipated justice,

and infected racism

with diarrhea, dehydrating

vulnerable humanity

with the runs of fatal hate.

Crying tearlessly,

we just sit and watch;

cramping with viral apathy.
