The candles they glow its a beautiful show,
I watch them flicker I watch them dance,
there the perfect recipe for a night of romance.
Bu,t tonight I sit and I just stare,
no thoughts, no worries and no cares.
My mind has taken a break from all its reeling,
all I'm left with is this peaceful feeling.
Sometimes are lives pass by us so fast,
we forget to cherish moments and make memories last.
But in tonight as the candles burn,
I will live life slowly, a lesson I struggle to learn
