no more bedtime stories no more lullabies no more dozing off no more closing eyes time to wake up or we will be extinct they trying to wipe us out like swatting flies don't get caught in their web of lies since the Promised Land this ain't been no Paradise we always been treated like parasites let us pray & say less allow the spirits to manifest don't you think we deserve the best after all we've been through we must be strong people because we've been able to do what we've done thus far in this wilderness laying brick we made picking bales getting no pay not much different from to day sep't it's done another way to shield the truth some say they won't take the juice but what will you do when you can't be free to do whatsoever it is you want to do unless you do what they want you to what they say what they tell you to it's not right to have no right but here we are in a midst of misery politicians making a lot of noise I trying to get the babies some toys their supposed to be the future but what lies ahead is disturbing even the levelheaded weary but there's no sense in worrying don't let this madness steal our joy we too tough for that
