I grew up in a house with steal bars on the window I go back home it's still bars on the window one would think it to be a safety measure to keep burglar's out coming from where I'm from it kept bullets out I can still hear it now the sound of metal bouncing off ever time the structure took a round the in mates where safe and sound behind the brick wall
