mental state is hazy
mind over matter it's crazy irritated over small chatterstretched in foxholes sends mein lazy modesno escaping these loadsthirty mile marches down the road twelve plus long weekswith constant interrupted sleep abundant heat is like infared making me weaka dreadintamacy with my rifle to clear my headtired of cadence, running out of patiencegas chamber snotting my nose in anger cussing the obstacles delivery of mail, my comfort through this hell but all and all when it's over I stood tall like a proud soldier
