branches
of a colorful
flowering bush
from whence
it was plucked
away

of a frog
who became
the breakfast of
an opossum
which was
struck
and executed
by a falling
electrical wire…
nearby
on an electrical
light pole
two saged
buzzards
patiently
watched
as their
own breakfast
lay cooling
on nature’s
green tabletop:-
