Our black world is not a stage
And we black men and women
Are not mere players in it;
Rather, our entrances and exits
Are realities of our lived lives.
In this, our black world, we are
Disciples of the living Liberator
Who liberated Himself from death
And ascended into eternal life
Scripturing our liberty be...likewise:-
We black men and women of today
Are true warriors on God’s battlefield
Armed with the weapon of undying hope
And firing missiles of whistling faith
Destroying the walls of oppression.
Come, black men and women
Let us continue to train and nourish
Our young black women and men
Who will become the reinforcers
On the Lord’s battlefield of liberty:-
We black women and men of today
Are fueled with a Wakanda-like spirit
Forging the path toward the liberation
That Black Panther inspired souls today
Are ensuring our coming generations:-
