She loved him with all her heart

with him was the only place she felt she belonged

so many people told her that they were wrong

but she shrugged it off their love was to strong

every night before they would sleep

he made sure he rubbed her feet

she would kiss him and say

why you always taste so sweet

and he would say because my sugar always next to me

she was fresh off of work

she hadn't been waiting long

but it was unlike her husband to be late

she looked down to check her phone

and at that minute a call came from his phone

she yelled at him playing of course

then she grew quite

and answered kind of horse

it was a man on the phone

but it wasn't her husbands voice

there was a lot of noise going on up the street

she paid it no attention

because she didn't understand what happened so briefly

she made her way up the street

there had been an accident from what she could see

she seen a car and what looked like some feet

and the second car looked like her husband's Jeep

she locked her eyes and grinded her teeth

she wanted to yell out his name

but when she open her mouth no words came to speech

she just closed her eyes and prayed

Strangely

she could feel a gentle kiss on the top of her braids

and her husband's voice saying
