Remembering, the first time it happened, unforgettable the day
Left cold, to march april showers, right into may
Fate, he may be asked, where did you finish
Before the start, as humility caused confidence to diminish
Pleasant was the scent, for he wouldn’t taste victory
Imperfectly suffocating from every perfect breath, contradicted contradictory
Rewarding, the risk she took, leaving much to chance
Exciting looks of amorous glances, giving life to romance
Intensity of fire inside, burned, as she questioned Fate
Unbeknownst to Destiny, Karma, lady who lies in wait
Therein lies a reason, although the truth is just her choice
To Destiny, Fate will show face and serenade her with his voice.
