when she started to criticize me I knew it was over every time she nit pick finding something about me to be annoyed with I knew it was over every time she looked at me disgustingly she had me asking the mirror "am I still sexy" I knew it was over when she started acting like she didn't trust me I knew it was over when she would suck her teeth turn her back to me I slam doors bang every pot and pan in the kitchen and rattle the knives in the drawer once the newness wore off of me I knew it was over when I wore out my welcome and got locked out my own damn house I knew it was over when I got myself locked up and she didn't bail me out I knew it was over when she would take the phone in the bathroom and turn the shower on and her hair wasn't wet when she came out I knew it was over when I rolled over and fell off the couch I knew it was time to put pretty Betty's petty penny ante a** out
