a familiar face walked through the door I couldn't put a name on it boggled my mind trying to think of it then suddenly I realized it wasn't the face of someone I met before it wasn't a face of someone I knew personally where have I seen that face before then I was floored it was a face I seen in a dream I closed my eyes and fell into one of the most beautiful scenes everyone there was smiling and singing the song flowing through the air pods in my ears I knew no one there but they were some of the most friendliest folks I ever did see mouthing inchanging soulful lyrics like reciting words in a poem magically turning a sad song into a good feeling the moment I found myself enjoying myself I lost the mood by waking up alone to a looping timeless piece mastery of the 70's I'm still listening to in 2023 it helps to feel something I haven't felt in a long time imagining seeing those I'll never see again hit rewind go back in time push a tape in the 8 track player kick back with a friend on the vintage sofa feeling the comfort of being born again new birth on new earth the only freedom I guess I ever known
