the sound a crash makes is startling it shakes and awakes the sleeping from slumber it's loud and never expected it's sudden it's a impact that lacks warning it's abrupt and interrupts a false sense of safety it's something that cannot be avoided it's certain fated and can't be evaded either it's too late or leave too little time to react breathing quickens the heart beats faster in a fit of grasping for more oxygen ligyrophobia kicks in signals travel through the brain the mind wonders "what was that" the sleepers up all night and can't go back to pleasurable nightmares
