Like a battle without its scars
You left my life dysfunctional, you made my world go flat,
You took the essence from my body, stepped on me like a mat.
Like a jungle with no vegetation
Like a life with no limitation
You stripped me of my will, made me fall under your command,
Made my life feel so still, made me long just for your hand.
Like a person with no heart
Like an end without a start
Seems like a story from fiction, but just look at me now,
Look at me and my depiction, I'm a reflection of the how.
Like music without its notes
Like quoting what has no quotes
Seems highly non-possible, yet I don't cease to exist,
Seems likely quite plausible, that in your life I'm but a mist.
