Curtsy Draped in Allah’s Grace

For the ones who mistakes  softness for surrender

You came in loud, but I’ve outlived louder shadows than storms that screamed my name and still couldn’t shake my soul loose

You call it, “real talk.” I call it residue, the kind that clings to mirrors when truth tries to breathe

I don’t flinch at thunder. I’ve danced with tempests and walked away with lightning in my palms

You see a sacred woman, the architecture of resilience, etched in struggles, upheld by Allah’s grace

So, turn around if you must, but know this, divinity does not bend for bitterness. I do not curtsy to chaos. And I sure as heaven do not break for someone who mistakes volume for value

I rise, not in spite of humanity's turmoil, but because I’ve stood in the eye of convulsions that tried to rename me and failed

And every time, I leave them blinking in the brilliance of a woman who refused to dim

My grace is not weakness. It is divine foundation. It is the echo of Angels who whispered my name before I ever learned to speak

So when I bow, it is not to you. It is to the Holy One who split the sea for Musa, who sheltered Mary's silence, who stitched my scars into divine scripture

I bow to no bitterness. I curtsy only to the throne of mercy. And I walk away wrapped in the grace of Allah

Go in peace, child, always.
