Just like

In the Pink Floyd song “Money”

The characteristic sound

Of an ancient cash register rings. While…

An old-style rotary telephone sings

Interruptions to an uneasy silence

Abruptly broken

By radio static as an announcer declares

We regret to inform you

That the new president Having lost his mind once again.

Went to a balcony in the third floor

And jumped off. After he’d

Dividing the entire contents of the US Treasury

Amongst his MAGA friends and fiends

Replacing the US Constitution

With Presidential pardons selling like hotcakes

Making bold moves/big mistakes

If executive orders are insights into his state of mind

his illusions de grandeur were legendary

His enablers are fraudsters through and through

The three ring circus

Executive/Judicial/Legislative

All bowed low

casting the dice/spilling the bones

It was a RICO plan …plain for all to see

So much so Even the Supreme Court

Gave him carte blanche …on a silver platter

Delivered freshly signed in the blood of patriots

on bended knee... at the emperors feet

Hear ye! Hear Ye!

When it push came to shove

There would be no love…

Perpetrators of the holy game

came to play, getting down dirty

with the gangster crew

threw in

Big campaign contributions but little faith

Cast their bids to the Don

who looked down on them with distaste

for what they represent

Pawns...

Who could not even make the stakes

In the right lane In Jesus, name.

Even Christianity fell short

In the Injustice Department

The game bloodsport Made its rounds.

And...

Compassionate concern was nowhere

…to be found
