Even though it hurts
Still I spread my broken wings
Using my pain as a shield
I repel the falling rains
Though the world can't understand
This dark path that I walk
Or the misery that I feel
Because my people are lost
In the wilderness
In a world so unforgiving
We've been dead for so long
That we forgot all about living
And its hopeless it seems
Because we're used to the murder scenes
Where dreams broken like glass
Slice straight through your spleen
Shaking my head from right to left
I take a deep breath of death
As I glance around the hood
Just to see what is left
