The moment he closed his eyes

and could see

He knew

The world change around him

He knew somehow

everything was different

His mind was evolving

in ways he'd never imagined

He could see

through solid objects

Knowing the intricate detains

inherent in their designs.

Total knowledge

in multiple perspectives

Like he was uploading

vast bits of a reality

Which had long

held fascination

Turning to time/Space

Something shifted,

almost imperceptive

His thoughts blurred,

then cleared

He "saw in his mind"

mental calculations

Had internal conversations

with a higher mind inside

which led him to efficiently

center thought streams

Quickly, processing

ever more effectively

Light flashes days,

angles of declinations, seasons

His mind shifted gears,

shifting forward Into futures

and backward To reverse

the actual time reference

From 0, the present state.

Beyond several reference states

his thoughts

could process

In several pathways,

simultaneously

Having no idea

what gift or curse this might be.

Whether this

was real

or an altered state of mind

He could retreat to

he paused,

but his mind did not

For some indeterminate time

he did not participate.

He only watched in total awe

What wickedness Was this?

Who was he, now?

What might this be?

Had he lost his mind?

Was he still asleep?

he was in...The Melt
