i am confident, competent,

well trained, experienced

patriotic, in a sense

i know what i stand for

what i believe to be good

is well understood

the technology invested

in this machine i fly

best that money can buy

backed by expert technicians

reinforced by repetition

The universe sees us

as energy of low intensity

a faint spark

against the darkness

every other point of being

our dreams are just part

of the evolving machine

which consumes

all futures

of all things

as it unwinds time

crossing space

A paradox

in an endless echo chamber

an amusement of little value

employed at little cost.. if any

pinch-a-penny...

toss it up against the wall
