is it the truly the root of all evil

not to determine who

just listening to our song
each one of us adds naturally
in the struggle to stand out,
captured in our dreams
is it in our nature to seek a supreme
to answer questions, before asking

a one willing to sacrifice

is the love of money
really a thing... or is it greed
which plants the seed
for money represents what value
is placed upon... commodities
based upon need

it takes skill to be effective
to capture the imaginations
raising the narrative
from a statement of routine
to a calculation
once you discover, other's ideas
call them what you will
which tend to contradict yours
inquiring minds, find
a point of reference
viewed with deference
creating a space to question
what divergent truths may coincide
where outright lies provide no place to hide
when you sever/kill/compromise
the connection of free-thinkers and heretics
in a war of worlds

just because you dominate

intellectuals verses the lies
under the guise of security
Yet who has authority
who gets to feel the pulse
of the people who naturally rise
those who carry the burden of society
to recognize what dangers lie ahead
what will naturally provides clarity
where do we find solace
why is not the question
