I loved you,

I loved you until the inner parts of my soul ached,

I loved you with the sight of a blind man,

I loved you through the darkness of loneliness.

I loved you in the belittlement of my pride,

I loved you so, that I walked through the fire of humiliation and endured the lashes of wagging tongues.

I loved you through the tears I cried when you silently said goodbye

I guess, I will always love you, until the flowers placed upon me, wither away in the wind.

Time, Lost Time?

A minute too late. Lost - yesterday, between sunrise and sunset, two hours, gone forever

Lost time within us, changes swept by, swept away.

The end of your life, regret having passed, not closing time governs the clock.

Dare triumphs, through checkered failures... rank your spirits in gray twilight?

Walk in the perfection of time.

And I believe listening to the conversations of the winds there is….

Playing till Sunrise

Playing till sunrise the low-down blues, blew my mind. Something’s been missing my whole life.

The music, discards everything down to the soul. My Blues are the true facts of my life expressed in words and song, feelings, understanding.

Out of the blues: joy, pain, and struggle. Affirmation with absolute.

It's about the pain, the struggle in the blues, universal pain from having your heart broken.

Purely emotive, like Howlin' Wolf; you understand it, because the emotion is darker than some of the loneliest blues.

Relief in all the trials of my life.  A 'lowdown dirty shame slow and lonesome, I ain't dead, I'm just supposed to be' the blues.

My blues ain't going nowhere.  Ain't goin' nowhere. It's indelible and indispensable.

I’m not a complicated piece of work. But my rhyme scheme can be difficult, spontaneous energy in the works.

Black, White & Grey Battle Engaged

Years trying to outrun or outsmart vulnerability of black and

white, good and bad. The discomfort of vulnerability wrought

uncertainty I want to be different It's a struggle for every

young Black man.

Black spirits and white spirits engage in battle, the sun

darkened - thunder rolls in the Heavens, blood flows in the

streets. no rules, society made the rules, for our suffering and

redemption.  The truth is that movements cannot be reborn,

causes of black suffering, self-inflicted broken dreams.

The path ails the African-American community, not just in the

minds of black people; but in the legacy - infinite shades of

grey often appear in black and white.

Time wasted again

The night is so hot, I sprawl  out from beneath these sheets, cause these satin sheets are not cool enough,. I can’t sleep, the memory of the trisk just hours before, seem distant.  Hmm, what day is it, another Saturday Night and I’m alone again, fake touches, shallow words, empty promises, yeah the creeper has left and gone back to his nest…

What a waste of my  time..

Battle for the Soul

A vision - white spirits and black spirits engaged in battle, the sun was darkened - the thunder rolled the blood flowed in streams -, spirits suffer much, they live in gray twilight not in victory nor defeat.

Determined spirits fired by an unquenchable darkness and entangled in ruin. Spirits immersed deep in vices, seem handsome.

Refuge from memory and remorse The spirits haunt us without repentance. We sit there satisfying the hunger. simply to satisfy the hunger and  not to permit ourselves to linger under the satisfaction.

The ingested psychedelic substances, acceptance or rejection of Unity, in its ultimate Essence, the belief or unbelief in the existence around us, the Battle of the Spirits for our Souls .

The Voice of You

Your time is limited, don't waste  someone else's life. Don't be trapped  living with other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others'  drown out your voice. Your voice, your mind, your story, live as only you can the tragedy, the oppression and cruelty, you must bear it. What has it created? No cause has ever been stilled No wrongs have ever been righted uncontrolled or uncontrollable voice of madness, not the voice of you.

Silence the World.

Words, but the silence cannot be found in noise and restlessness.  silence. silence; in touch with the silence, move in silence... understand your silence not your words.

Absolute silence leads to the image of death. Noisy, distracted, with so much noise. There is no room for silence, muted sounds, the shroud of grey, and the silence  comes .

Silence can't think, silence, the inexpressible music. falling silence, that snow silence.

Silence speaks Silence encourages the tormentor.

Silence is the means to avoiding the footsteps in the street, the noises around the corner, and the silence of the ghosts.

Beyond the Ugly Truth

 The mirror of the mind, eyes speaking secrets to complicate your mind, bury your thoughts, puts your visions to reality. Footsteps make a path a single thought will make a pathway in the mind. a physical path, a mental path, over your thoughts to dominate and lose your mind in the process. 

Inner quality. It is a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you need nothing else, but lack peace of mind, exhausts the mind. Like walking through a maze. an empty mind like snow - the lighter it falls, the longer it dwells upon, the mind. 

When one's mind diminishes fear; does away with fear. The tragedy, visible punishment of men , the declaration by prayer. Faltering steps, shadowy minds, necessary ugly."

The tone for the message, the absence of fear, the judgment is fear. We undertake the fear to accept ourselves, the “Death of our fear; is taking the risk to —give souls, wings to the mind, flight of the imagination.

My Weakest Soul

When the soul lies down, they are the glass that contains the lamp, obscure twisted into any shape. Promises indiscriminate killing of my soul.

Cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my soul.

Belittle my souls core, like hurt, jealousy, loneliness, shame, rage and grief.  deepest wounds, to transcend limitations, to overcome obstacles, to see where my soul is longing to go. Jealous are possessed by a mad devil and a dull spirit blowing; to him alone.

 A canvas to imagination that will be silenced by discontent. Transforming fear. the absence of fear It always seems impossible.

Failure will overtake Our greatest weakness alone are omnipotent.
