She sat pretty in the corner of the room
Clear eyesight, smooth sway
Never seen anything so beautiful
The way that blue light outlined her body
Made me feel like a lil boy waitin to open a package on Christmas day
Golden brown skin, cozied up with locs that fell below her shoulders
Chocolate brown eyes lookin into my soul while clutchin a diamond cut glass cup so casually in her hands
Air filled with new ports and cigars
I was captivated, maybe I was intrigued
This was one cup of whiskey that I needed
To come my way
Mama always told me that I was hardheaded
She told me to never let temptation lead me down a road of uncertainty
But I had to disregard those words
Because I needed to know more
So, I jumped headfirst into uncertainty with no life jacket in hand
Like silk sheets her skin felt all too smooth
Never liked the lip bittin but her’s felt just right
She had me
I believe she may have set me up
Because before I knew it
I had her wrapped in my arms
Whiskey came and whiskey went
Whiskey stayed and whisky swayed
I had her
Felt her hart beatin up against my chest
That was the night whiskey became
My favorite drink
