Just lay there a while, I want to admire
this moment after you wake face
bare, hair out of place, and in that
attire of sorts
To run my fingers across your
blemishes for they seem nothing,
but still my everything just as you are
Just a little while longer, to have a feel
of your chest’s rise and fall, a soft sky
against my awe, while I gaze upon your
scenic bounds
To see you smile to the other side of the
moon while I say nothing, hushed
because the mood is all the talk we
need right now
Hmm, a kiss to your brow, singular,
one syllable, so sound
That would send me all the way, like a
charter on its mark to all of your outer
space, and I’d be about my day
I’m a simple crown, for it doesn’t take
a ton of taste to please my plate, but,
yes please keep piling it on if you say
..so.
