Remember the first night got incoming I

was runnin so hard to get to the bunker line

Been in country two weeks waiting for unit

to b assigned pullin details filling sand bags 

pickin up cigarette butts KP Guard duty You

happy to get orders 500 miles north of Saigon

We 7 guys sleepin in tent soon its dark first night

there rockets come in shaking the ground take off

runnin with my M16 sirens going off flares going off

full speed run into clothes line not the one with the wrestling

but black vinyl hollow wire clothes line the hootch maids 

hang the guys clothes its pitch black me new ran full speed

caught me by the neck threw me back bout two feet steel pot

went on way m16 went one head hit the ground bout to get

killed aint seen nobody yet but that clothes line from that da...

Writing just an outlet 

for me

good therapy for 

my PTSD

not out to save or

convert the world

Never use it to pursue or woo

some special woman or girl

Writing just something to

relax my mind

Controversey for controversey sake

I do decline

Sitting in my little corner

of the world

not bothering anyone what

I prefer

Like watching words and lines

coming together

Writing just a lil relaxin time

to spin a rhyme

and listening to my favorite combo group boss with the funk boss with the ballads bad with the RNB Them Isley guys listening to Livin in the life from the LP Go For Your Guns Isley Brothers

New Notebook Tablet (Pen n Paper Kind)

Done went and bought a 2026

Fall/Winter writing tablet

Muse and I again gettin together

with this writing Hobby habit

Not quite Fall yet but startin to

reach for that blanket early morning

More words for me to pull out the air

Muse pokes me during this time

always knows what he she it is doing

Get into writing deep when it is cold

heater jumpin on and off cold dark early outside

it does somethin to the Soul like get to writing

got your bills straight medications in order

time to flow

its writing time your present goal

Sports on TV cold outside warm inside

Bootzilla

Got this Bootzilla thrilla of 

a story to tell ya

Reinjured an old archilles tendon

injury right now goin on 7 months of

limpin hurtin misery

Such an event cant b kept

Walkin in Raiders flip flops 

the ones with all the toes stickin

 out from the wide strap

walked into the base of a standin

vacume cleaner flip flop turned under

the sole pinning my foot against the base

of the vacum while violently twisting my

foot to the point about to b thrown

rupturing tendon sprained the whole foot

upper and bottom ankle sprain

Did the exray all good nothin broke dilocated

but not mri

Just got the boot two weeks ago

Oh that heavy ball and chain

Bootzilla things will never b the same

for sure I cant b draggin u around all day

just cant bro just dont work that way

This whole episode just insane
