Cipher for Love

Cipher for Love

You are safe with me—

code for I’ve got you when

no one else does.

A love that comes from good

intentions,

locked inside a solid trust.

A love that is forever—

or at least an endeavor

of constant embrace.

A steady affirmation when

all else is loosely fitting,

failing to take your shape.

Nothing can take your place.

Not ever. No way.

The Scent of Roses On Warm Skin

Each touch, those faint ones that

tickle my senses,

reminds me of what I am missing.

You and I, existing far past the

mind’s mere glimpse—

where your rose scent is no longer

a hint,

but soaked deep into my warm

skin.

Our time spent in this present,

never questioned if our bond was

born long ago.

Take Me

Stretching on tippy toes

to reach the edge of his lips,

her eyes dissolved —

a drift deep into an ascended sea,

spilling a quiet galaxy onto a silent

shore, before her mouth could utter

take me.

Loved By A Stranger

I always wondered

what it was like to be loved

by a stranger.

It feels so wow, wow, wow!

Like a sudden whisper in a dark

vast,

a comment from a deity,

a glance across the stars,

lifting me up

before they become still in the

night.

As The Son I Am

Can I be your mainstay, by your

side amongst the countless

noises of the world? I promise to

love you through them all—not

only as the man that I am, but

as the son I will always be.

The Weight of Your Skin

With your name on

the tip of my tongue,

make me cry it out,

spoken and sung.

Make me stuck,

helpless and bound,

by the weight of your skin

and the lack of a sound.

Your body is a beautiful arrest,

laying all other words to rest,

so let silence bloom heavy

where our fingers trace the

hidden lines between your

lips and mine.

And every stuttered, broken

sigh becomes the only true

reply.

If It Ends With Me

The moment I met you, with my

mind out in space, the world

seemed to stop spinning.

Time unmoored in an instant,

and ever since, I have longed to

know your beginning—

and if it ends with me.

My Beloved

My Beloved,

let me strip the cloth away,

slow as a turning season.

I want the whole architecture,

the holy fractures first.

You are stunning when hidden,

but naked—

you are a beautiful blasphemy.

Act 1

Hold me like a cadence—

one that claims to whole on my

mind.

A pull so binding, we wouldn’t

regret what we left behind.

In the spaces between, our voices

carry light with every breath.

Let’s share a bond so seamless,

each exhale feels like a reflex.

Two minds bending—

beyond where the sun sets,

yonder where the moon rests.

Undoing

Fall into my arms and let

yourself be like Autumn,

till the season passes slowly

stripping me of my veils.

May I be a bare branch in the

end—

locked in a winter that forgets

the world, but knows I shall

reveal no secrets.

Keep me warm under your

breath where you gently

hold the found honesty of

what I am when faced

with change.
