Upon Every Strand Of Thy Hair (Delilah)

We conjure the booming energy of the scarlet seductress whose lips were the taste of immortality and promised each man who stands
A pilgrimage to walk upright and be the mightiest to  our desires as we have command
Her lavender-scented sheets welcomed our manly flesh
Disrobed in our nakedness as we stood in her honor, to feel our souls unto her mesh

A beguiling sight to the festival of our blind eyes
The warmth between her thighs can make any sire or commoner’s nature rise
A gift to ease inside the temple of her mind
She makes you lose all thoughts of regal time
In her nudity, she is a Goddess as she touched upon our eager bodies
Pulling her into our embrace, warmth greeted your inner soul, making love, she is balm, the soothing effect of a hot toddy

Within the sanctuary, our loins pleasured by Delilah
Surrendering the spirit of our love, submitting our free will if there ever was
A seductress who has captured one man’s heart too many to name
The scent of deception, the flavor of her love, we all wear its badge of shame
We are chanting her aura back into existence
Each hand raised to the thunderous skies, we need her to shower her love down it has become our incantation as we remain rooted in solidarity with persistence

What good is a man who has faith, the strength of a lion’s roar
I am Samson, to my body, in my weakness, her love notes softly poured
In my slumber, she took my wisdom to share, my sight to see, my hope to go on
Chained to her memories where in my heart she resides, I was her love, her heart, she was my divine home
Oh, Delilah, what hast thy beautiful temptress done
Your ruse of love unto another has brought down bricks and mortar, only ruins remain of a now-dethroned kingdom

A lock of my strand of hair
I became weakened in my galloping to run free, now held in this beauty’s captive lair, devoid of substance to even care
She has a price to the skies she must atone
Confess her sorrow as she faces us men who were left alone
Her promise to see us uplifted in our greatness, told to each one of us
We are her chants to the ether, to never allow a woman to mesmerize
In the name of love, thy God, we shall only trust
