My sister don’t look like me nor does my brother
We all have the same mother but different fathers
Some of us know who they are some of us don’t
Some of us have a lot some of us are have not’s
Some have dark skin others are light
I even have a sister who looks like she white
We once stuck together kept it tight
Now all we do is argue fuss and fight
We hardly ever see eye to eye
They live where they live I stay on my side
When we try to get together it’s hard to decide
Believe me when I tell you
this really hurts me deep inside
Our ages are not too far apart
we're all separated in our hearts
In her eyes mama regrets what she started
Still we all remain dearly departed
Like we don't need each other
I stand alone broken hearted
I don’t hate my sister’s nor brother’s
I hate the choices that our mother made
