I Write

A Sudden Exit

 I got this from a writing challenge from another Poetry website. I hope it's cool that I can post this

As shoes are complaining,

YOU LEFT US BEHIND!!!,

just up against the wall

now that's out of line,

now, what was the rush?, and

the meaning of this?,

just running around barefoot,

just up and just split,

Did the house catch on fire?,

or Maybe a flood,

or you bump your pinky

with a painful thud?,

If you'd worn your shoes,

your feet would be secured,

I would've kept them snugged,

honestly I am sure,

NOW, HERE I AM ANGRY and

having the blues

I'd wished that you

hadn't bandoned your shoes

Someone to talk to

Someone to talk to,

someone to converse with,

to have stories to share, or 

maybe just kick it,

a true and dear friend,

a friend to the end,

If you hurt or heart is broken,

will help your heart mend,

a friend who is always there,

Pick you up when you are down,

Let you know, that they do care,

Help you to turn that frown around,

There's someone who will help you,

that will chase away your Blues,

If they would just lend you there ears,

You just need someone to talk to

I really wanted to hang today, but

you had to leave, and go far away,

I like your Aura,

You have such a Bright Light,

Just a conversation with you

brings to me Delight,

You Sparkle like a Diamond,

that lights up the night,

We haven't really conversed

for quite a while, but

When you are in my presence,

YES!!!

YOU DO MAKE ME SMILE!!!

you were on my mind today,

I hope that you are good, and

that things are okay,

I wish you the best, and

hope all is well, this I pray,

If you're not too busy, or

happen to come around,

Maybe we could just chill,

or even hit the town,

It will be a Thrill,

Lilac Fantasies

The color of Lilac,

is like a lavender dream,

the feeling of youthfulness,

like a flowing Lavender stream,

a world of Peace and Harmony,

Innocence and Tranquility,

A calmness of pure,

Life's amazing Imaginary,

It's in how you live, and

It's the love you give,

a beautiful Serenity,

Is fantasize Plenty,

Lilacs that Fall,

Deep within the valley

Is where the lilacs dwell,

So, come along and just see,

A world of Lilac Fantasies!!!

To all of the

homebodies

everywhere,

there's nothing

wrong with

staying home,

this cruel world

just don't care,

evilness, and strife

is certainly shown,

I'd rather be in

Solitude, and completely

all alone,

There is so

much darkness,

and malice

Today,

Please be safe,

Trust God,

and just

continue to Pray,

In stead of going out

Is in the house

I'd rather stay!!

The Sun that refuses to Shine

The Sun that refuses to Shine,

On a world of people, that aren't so kind,

It didn't even bother to Rise, but

Instead it decided to Hide,

The Sun will not show its face,

To the people it is such Disgrace,

Not anytime nor even real soon,

The Sun even Encouraged the Moon.

The Sun that refuses to Shine, and

The moon won't even Moonbeam,

On the world that is so full of Darkness,

Of Malice, Temperaments, and Greed.

People are definitely out of hand,

No control, just out of their minds,

Just doing as they may, they really don't

care, self-centered and just out of line

Until we can come to a truce, or

an agreement is what we Shall find,

We will walk-around in a dark world,

because

the Sun refuses to Shine!!

Whispers in the Air

The Calmness, the Stillness,

the chill of despair,

the voices of the unknown, 

of the Whispers in the Air!!

Are you hearing the coded messages,

of what they are trying to say???, or 

are you still trying to decipher them,

this very single day, or

maybe you are unaware of them, and 

you are letting them go astray!!

They may seem to be a bit eerie,

of what you are trying to hear,

these Whipsers in the air,

they tend to bring to you fear,

You're incoherent of 

its understanding, but

It Doesn't seem to make any sinse,

When you have a need for Speed

When you have the

 NEED FOR SPEED, 

FOR THE ADRENALINE RUSH,

Oh, YES INDEED!!!,

Like your feet are 

practically off the ground,

You want to go faster, and

You can't SEEM TO SLOW DOWN, 

AS IF LIFE is PASSING YOU BY, 

You WANNA GO FAST, 

Like it's gonna just OVERLOOK YOU,

THEY SAY SATISFACTION DOESN'T LAST,

What exactly are you SPEEDING TO??

The end of the ROAD???

If so, you will hit a DEAD END,

Alone, with No Friends

When you are

feeling alone, and

when you have NO FRIENDS,

you want the

loneliness to subside, and

come to an end,

like some kind of companionship,

not knowing where to begin,

just yearning for attention,

as the aloneness sets in, but

don't feel down and out

just lift up that chin,

You are a Champion, and

YES!!!,

YOU CAN WIN!!

You are not alone when

you are in Solitude,

There's No issues, or no malice,

Just pure Gratitude!!!

So, Be Grateful that you are all alone,

there is nothing wrong,

with being on your own,

The friends that you have had

have gone astray,

A handful of friends, to me is okay,

Your days will be brighter, and

No Clouds of Gray!!!
