I am a lover of words they feed my inner soul core, and I will never fall out of love with them because they keep me begging for more. The more I fall in love with them they help me grow, and in that growth there is intelligence in my flow. Words are like honey they drip softly from your lips and if they are erotic you will caress them with your finger tips. What can I say about my love affair except that it has been going on for so many years? They are as intimate as a lover and as loyal as a trusted friend that shares in my happiness and my fears. Words can make you go half on a baby hell ask R Kelly if you don’t believe, they can make you stay in love or make you want to leave. They can be the lyrics to a beautiful love song or the recipe to your favorite meal. They can also be the words in a poem that makes your heart heal. They can be expressed through the signing of hands or interpreted in and spiritual dance and the can fill your heart full of joy if given half a chance. I will never break up with them because the bond we share is one that many won’t understand but it is for life and always a part of my daily plans. Words can make you laugh or they can make you cry or they can be a beautiful beginning or a final goodbye. When I say that I love you more than all the words in all the books in the world believe me, from the hieroglyphics written on the walls in ancient Egypt to the bottles buried in the sands of time. Words made love to my soul even before I could speak they gave me the courage to love them back and they have never let me down even at times when I felt weak. I will protect the integrity of words with every breath I take and I will love them with all my heart without ever taking a break. If you are in love with words put your lighters in the air and give them their due, because the art of spoken word was made for me and you.
