The PEN IS MY SIN
The ink that flows from my sword is the excalibur of my minds thoughts always looking for a way to slice it’s way into the hearts of women and men, knowing that this is my fate in life because the pen is my sin.
Even in my sleep the words are being mumbled softly from my lips and they haunt my dreams until I finally let my pen drip.
I can’t help it sometimes I wake up at night in a cold sweat because my thoughts won’t let me rest, always a mental challenge to give you nothing but my best.
The works of Langston Hughes enthrall me and having Niki Giovani as a muse inspires me to be greater than myself, to know that the words that drop elegantly from my pen don’t belong on some long forgotten shelf
I speak using a voice that only a few will understand, and that is the language of fire when a pen gets in my hand.
A subliminal melting pot for those who choose to see, that more than trickery on the play of words is what you can get from me.
Only the releasing of words can cool the fire that burns within and I am damned for eternity because the pen is my undeniable sin!
