To be honest, poetry is more than a monthly contest and a prize

Its a way of life

I picked up that pen, grabbed a paper and wrote down my loves, my ambitions, my happiness, pains and strides

Not knowing that I would be finding a wife

That's why its so serious to me

I aint posted that much so that might not be easy to see

But truth is I just had to get the juice flowing, concentrate, and all that was left was vitamins A, B, C

Some take this as an opportunity to write the most

I see it as an opportunity to put the art on the map, invite everybody to come to it and enjoy the art, not boast

Shoes them that its not always about loving others but sometimes the love of the art

Cause if you writing just to write the most then you aint writing from the heart

I respect everybody who can get up the nerve to post they stuff

Maybe I'm just being a Libra and saying what I think is just

Am I taking shots? Naw I love yall and that yall can trust

I just hate when people treat the like art like a random chick, never loved her at all only love the booty or the bust.
