Branded by a hot
small black cast iron
frying pan
Front eye on
food in the pot
frying pan off
on the back eye
but somethin went
decidedly wrong
Reached to grab
the frying pan
to wash it
took bout 3 seconds
to drop it
Sizzle handle was
gettin heat from the
front eye
Things always seem
to go awry
blistered in the palm
near the thumb
Big nasty ugly blister
and burn
As I am healin up
seein more and more
of my fingers and hand
had been burned from
that tight grab of the pan
Lesson learned
dont think never again
like this will I get burned
