dark times pass

it may rain now

storm clouds may cry

shed thunderstorm like tears

drench you

till your lungs refuse

to take breath

but clear skies

lie in wait

the sun lurks

behind

dark cloud covered skies

waiting

to peak through them

and show you

the warmth of its touch
