This is my letter to you, Mr. Police Officer, see contrary to what the world says, me and you, we are more similar than you can imagine, see we both are hated for the uniform that we wear, yours in the form of blue cotton, mines in the melanin of the ones that picked the cotton, we are sometimes both labeled as rotten, dirty and filth of the earth, we both have a few bad seeds that over shadow our good deeds cause contrary to popular belief, there are those that actually uphold the law and patrol the streets, and there are those of us who actually do go to school and leave with degrees so you see, me and you, we are more like distant cousins that always met, but never recognized that we are family, and just like family, we have our own unique nicknames, they call you pig and they call us s, and its funny cause s are known to *** up some pig on sight so I see why you do the same to us, see this relationship literally runs from the roota to the toota, but much like families we are disfunctional, you seem to harass ourfor driving while black or come around us lookin for that crack, all this because were black, severe beatings, constant mistreating or getting shot 110 times for holding up a wallet which you said was a gun, maybe you do this for fun, maybe our distance has upset you, maybe our family tree aint what it seems, you branch out in different directions, while the roots stay underground, the same place you plan to put us for permanent dirt naps, Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, and Eric Garner just to name a few, so when I hear that song bad boys, bad boys, whatchu gonna do, I know the answer is try to terminate me on sight, now lemme clear something up, all of mines aint right, sometimes, they do give you a reason to defend you life, sometimes, you should arrest them for their ignorance in the streets, sometimes, even s deserve to get theirbeat, and if my wish come true, you'll be locking up s that sag cause they some undercover fags, and thats no disrespect to gay men cause even they are more manly than those clowns, but lets turn this back around to the subject at hand, see as long as I remember its been blue vs. black, nightsticks vs. s, 9mm bombs vs. black men unarmed, yet you ask me to respect the long arm of the law, the hell with that, and I know you thought I would holla *** the police, but when you *** you come, and yall never come when we need y'all the most cause black people to yall are celebate, but you sell a bit of s to your federal cronies on charges that are phony, but for yall, its easy to holla *** s, cause we *** up and keep comin to y'all based off our own ignorance, so you see Mr. Officer, we are more related than you think, I just ask you to think the next time before you gun us down, cause like I said, we both wear uniforms, the only difference is, I can't take mines off
