Letter To The Queen

CATEGORY

Dear Queen,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. As for me? I am doing quite good for myself. It's been a while since the last time I sat and talked with you. The last time we shared a cup of coffee... The last time I took a evening walk with you. Over the years I have heard many things about you, you know... this and that. But you know me... That's all he say, she say... So I won't use this time to get into that. I just want to make you aware of something... Don't worry, it's not as bad as it seems. First I need to ask you this simple question... Do you know that you are a Queen?
I know what you thinking... I'm just saying a compliment. Quite the opposite, I'm just stating the obvious. Stories tell us that Queens need crowns, robes, and a throne to show it, see, I beg to differ... You don' need any of those material things to know that you are royalty. You see... At your whim... A kingdom can manifest. At your voice... A war can rage or cease in a sec. You possess the type of love that makind can't seem to resist. And if you ever decide to withdraw that love... mankind would cease to exist. God may have spoken words to shape the world... But it was a Queen that birthed the King that saved the world. It was a King that wanted equality and even had a dream of that... but it was a Queen who gave him motivation to go in front of masses to speak of that. It was a Queen that, while in bondage, lead others sharing her fate to freedom. It was a Queen who through a talk show showed the world how successful our lineage could become. It was a Queen that sat on a bus, and because she was tired... refused to move. It was a Queen who, as a teen, got on a balancing beam and refused to lose. While the enemy was leading our princesses to believe they were dogs... maybe worse. It was a Queen that rised up and asked for U.N.I.T.Y. amongst our Ladies First. See, history has always asked us... "Without a king... What could a kingdom amount to?" But the real question should be, "How could a kingdom function without you?"
See this is why I felt I had to write you, it seems you let the enemy mislead you. Seems you were easily convinced that we don't want you... When in reality we really need you. It seems that nowadays its easy for the world to doubt you... Which is funny, because when they talk about Queens... they are talking about you. I had to write this with a sense of urgency... because it seems that I am losing time. Since the world doesn't want to tell you this... I will, you are doing just fine. Don't let the world try and dictate to you what a Queen is supposed to be. That information is already etched in your DNA... therefore continue to be what you are known to be. A strong, smart, beautiful creation that can stand on its own two. Someone who can easily maintain the kingdom... Just like a Queen is supposed to. It doesn't matter if there is conflict in your home, your school,or your community. You possess the power we don't have that can easily end mutinies. Although you are in a good place... Continue to strive for the best. Always remember that you are a Queen, you should never settle for less. Remember that you are the light of the world, your presence alone can rid a land of darkness. This may sound corny but you are The Wiz, the way you give brains to the brainless, courage to the courageless, and heart to the heartless.
And last but not least... Remember that you are far from worthless. If we were to put a price tag on you, the price would be too high of a purchase. You are a Action Comic first issue, original package, mint condition. You are a L'Homme Qui Marche creation shown only during a Musee du Louvre rare art exhibition. You are worth way more than precious stones and shiny gold.
Remember you are a Queen, you are a priceless commodity, a Koh-I-Noor

                                    -Sincerly Yours,
                                        Man.
