Got tickets in advance and never made a reservation

Seemed like a won a free trip, there was so much hesitation

Didn't know it was a legit trip

My heart could not take another flop or flip

 

Because the shaking up high in the sky

Is enough to make me almost want to die

Not a fear of heights just a fear of falling

Packing my bags slowly I guess i'm stalling

 

But this trip could be better than the last time

And last time flying is somewhat of a past time

Hoping this one flies me to a better tomorrow

Today i'm not looking forward to possible sorrow

 

Yet I make my way to the airport

Wishing I had some support

But some how thought of the plane

Eases me and causes me to go insane

 

Going through baggage claim next i'm in security

Emptying my pockets, stripped showing my insecurity

All set to board then I pause and freeze

So close but I can't accept this with ease

 

Flight 418 is the name of my flight

Such a beautiful airline why am I full of fright

She's weathered all kinds of storms and still flies

Honest company so they never tell lies

 

Last call to board....i probably should get on

I just made it....one more minute it would have been gone

I get in sit and get comfortable

Think that this will be wonderful

 

Flight attendant does her job we listen to her words that were spoken

Then with a great big smile she recites their slogan

“We'll take you higher than most will understand

Flying on our love you'll hope you never land”
