Lured into her sea
 Hook line and sinker
 My shoreline felt empty
 I knew I would need her
 The lighthouse shined brightest the nights she called
 I wish I could foresee the engine stall
 She took the wind out my sails when her thunder fell
 Down on me like a cloud of hail
 Now I’m lost at sea
 Above her coral reefs
 Mocked by the beauty her presence brings
 SOS sirens erupt from my chest
 I guess loves compass was incorrect
 My heart has gone overboard
 Without a second guess
 It’s only fitting that my mind be next

I’m sinking
 Going down with the ship
 Life’s fleeing
 I wonder if I’ll be missed

Now I’m sitting here on her ocean floor
 Surrounded by her matter
 I no longer matter anymore
 I should save myself
 But there’s no will to swim
 I know I’ll probably end up here again
 Another broken heart
 After my voyage starts
 Hopes of staking claim
 To a land she has long forgot
 Ownership was never part of her plan
 Never drop your anchor without consulting the sand
 Never set out to conquer the beast of the unknown

 The abyss as your new home
