What do you think when you hear the word intimacy

Is it intertwining with another physically

Feeling each other so deep emotionally

Or are you fused together spiritually

All are correct answers to the question

Though not the point of this lesson

Love is the earth intimacy is the water that flows through

Love is infinite therefore intimacy can involve more than two

The teachings of monogamy don't speak the truth of love

Does not appraise the full value of what's sent from above

Preventing the concept of having multiple true connections

To cross paths becoming beautiful intersections

I've found love comes in many forms

And can be expressed in many ways out of the norms

Never belonging to anyone I love as a friend

Making those connections that'll never end.

To me thats intimate because I feel what you feel

And no matter where life takes us it'll always be real

Love for the sake of love I don't need a title

You'll have a place in my heart, that's vital

Just from mere eye contact is ecstasy

Piercing my soul so intimately

We meet up on another plane that exist within

Deep in each other without grazing the skin

Never once having to cross that line.

Physically can never me mine

So the way I love is on a different level you see

Redefining the term we know as intimacy
